Maintenance Manager LQS

The essential position in FrieslandCampina's dairy chain requires LQS to provide high-quality services, i.e. reliable analysis results within the agreed time. LQS is the only laboratory in FrieslandCampina with both an ISO 17025 accreditation and GMP+ B10 certification. In this role you are responsible for developing policy regarding changing quality and quantitative requirements in the field of production and process technology and optimizing the primary process in which automation of the laboratory is an important aspect. Also implementing the policy through engineering and project accountability during construction, realizing investment projects and ensuring the planned and preventive maintenance of the machinery and buildings.

Vacancy description

• Targeted contribution to the engineering of production and process technology.
• Achieving continuous availability of technical installations and buildings.
• Ensure that the requirements imposed on the company in the field of SHE regarding the technical implementation.
• Ensure that the primary process is optimized so that it can continue to meet changing qualitative and quantitative requirements.
• Preparing and responsible for the implementation of construction and investment projects, where necessary in consultation with external agencies.
• Provide technical support to the (projects of the) departments.
• Guiding developments in the field of (production and process) technology, where automation and innovation are very important aspects.
• Ensure that the applicable quality level of the primary process is maintained by: having (preventive) maintenance schedules drawn up and carried out.
• Ensure management, maintenance and safety of your own equipment, workspaces and grounds.
• Ensure that the primary process (deployment and application of equipment and technological options) is optimized so that this process can continue to meet changing qualitative and quantitative requirements.
• Ensuring proper implementation of purchasing, making quotations and giving orders to third parties, based on the quotations.
• Research into and care for the purchasing of equipment and parts for new and existing (production) processes as well as for our own service.
• Carrying out operational personnel management within your own department. Where necessary, provide additional (external) assistance in the preparation and execution of work.
• Hold periodic consultations with employees. Dimensions Laboratory & Quality Services (LQS) in Leeuwarden is Royal FrieslandCampina's central laboratory for QC analyzes in e.g. raw materials, intermediate and end products, for the FrieslandCampina Opco's, especially in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Based on the analysis results of LQS, Opco's QA releases their products.
